Fried Oreos
Spread the love

At a local carnival a few weeks ago I had the first taste of heaven that I’d had since the pandemic began: fried Oreos. Fried Oreos are easily my favorite fair food. So naturally, I started to crave the taste of those little chocolate clouds long after my carnival visit. Thankfully, I had the two ingredients needed to make them at home, and satisfy those cravings. I am delighted to say that they turned out deliciously

With this air-fried Oreos recipe, you can enjoy the taste of the state fair or carnival any time of year! I’d also bet they taste even better with some ice cream on top!

What You’ll Need:

  1. An air fryer
  2. Oreos (of course)
  3. Biscuit or crescent roll dough (the canned kind)

How to Make Fried Oreos

Wrap your dough around each individual oreo, making sure you seal any cracks. I used the Grands Southern Biscuits (a breakfast favorite in my house) and gently pressed the oreo into the dough, before stretching it and pinching it to make a seal. The dough I used had little bits of butter already in it, but if you’d like you can top them with a brush of butter.

Put them in your air fryer at 350 degrees for around 10 minutes. Flip as needed.

Top with powdered sugar, and enjoy!

If you don’t have an air fryer on hand, Cnet listed their top air fryers for 2021 here, where they recommend the Ninja Air Fryer. If you have some time on your hands, I suggest looking through the specs and seeing which model of air fryer will suit your needs the best!
