Lore Olympus looks inspired by Persephone
Spread the love

I’ve been quite literally OBSESSED with Lore Olympus lately. Like, a level of obsession I haven’t experienced since I binge read the Twilight books as they came out (I can feel your judgment from here. It was middle school, so I will not be taking criticism at this time). I started reading at around 4:00 PM and finally went to bed around 2:00 AM. It’s just SO good, every chapter after 10:00 PM I told myself I should go to bed, and at the end of each chapter, I HAD to keep reading.

Growing up, I would never in a million years have considered ANYTHING pink. But I fell in LOVE with Persephone’s character style. So, I did my best to cobble together a Persephone Lore Olympus look for Valentine’s Day!

Persephone Lore Olympus Makeup

For the eye makeup I largely used this Morphe palette, (because it’s the most colorful one I own) but if you’d like to avoid using that one, you’ll need 3 shades of pink. I used this graphic for my own reference, which I found on Pinterest:

For my base, I used the P Louise eye primer in shade Rumour 002 to prime my eyes. I recommend doing your eyes first for this look, as it’ll be easier to remove the fallout without ruining any hard work you’ve already done.

For my eyeliner I used the Tarte Sex Kitten liner in black, eyebrows are a combination of the Colourpop Brow Boss gel in light brown and the NYX microbrow pencil in shade chocolate.

Her pink blush is made of two different shades from the Anastasia Beverly Hills blush trio that I snagged from TJ Maxx. I first laid down shade “sugar” and then put some of shade “basically” over top of it. I used the all time classic Benefit Hoola bronzer to subtly contour my cheeks (because I’m forever scarred from using WAY too much bronzer in college. Never again.)

I usually use the Maybelline Sky High mascara in black, but you can use any mascara you’d like! Initially, I wanted to use false lashes, but after doing all of that work on my eyes I chickened out! I have notoriously bad luck with putting on lashes, and I wasn’t willing to let my hard work go to waste.

For the lip color, I didn’t have an exact match of that magenta color, so I used Kylie Cosmetics “Say no more” as the base color and added the shade “Flynn” from Colourpop on top of it!
