Hello there! It’s time once again to showcase different items I’ve found this week that I consider must haves for that week’s theme. I find some of these on Instagram, but most anything cool that I find across the internet can end up on this list! This week’s theme is: Vacation Vibes! Read on to see what summer must haves made the list!
Mickey Mouse Tropical Tumbler
I am an absolute sucker for anything with a tropical theme. When I laid eyes on this tumbler, I HAD to add it to this list. If I could add the whole collection I really would. I am a known advocate of using insulated cups (to both help the environment and keep your drink cold) and any drink you put in this cup will stay cold even in the sweltering Florida heat. AND you get the added benefit of having an absolutely beautiful cup to make any staycation feel more like a vacation, with a sprinkling of Disney magic added on.
Jurassic Park Button-Up
This shirt is so up my alley I gasped with delight when I saw it. This might honestly be one of my favorite pieces HerUniverse has dropped!! The print screams summer but you get that subtle hint of nerdy with the pink Jurassic Park logos scattered throughout. As soon as I’ve got the money, you can bet I’ll be buying this one baby! Summer with a hint of geek? *In Michael Fassbender’s voice* perfection.
Elder Wand Handbag
This one isn’t overtly vacation-y, but it definitely fits perfectly for summer. This beautiful bag is subtly geeky in the best ways: elegant gold hardware contrasts against the white faux leather, and upon closer inspection, you notice the Elder Wand and the Deathly Hallows. At $80 it ranks as one of the more expensive items on this list, but I’d say it’s worth it for any die-hard Harry Potter fan who’s got the money to spend.
Sand Dollar Piece Bathing Suit
This bathing suit from Whiskey Darling is everything I want when I’m on vacation (or when I want to feel like I’m on vacation). Cute and trendy for IG pics, white to attract the minimum amount of sun possible, and full coverage enough where I wouldn’t have to worry about it slipping while I swim and splash around. This blank canvas is also perfect for adding all sort of subtle geek accessories!
